Our JournalOn the first day of the second week we organised a trip for newcastle to further develop our knowledge not in writing but in selling and self publishing our book. Newcastle gave us a lot of inspiration on how you would self publish and why. One of the many points made by a shopkeeper in Travelling Man was that if you are going to make something like this you have to be in it for fun, not for money or profit. This really helped us organise what we wanted to produce as our end product. |
On Tuesday 24th of June, author Bea Davenport came to talk to us about creative writing, journalism and all importantly her book! During her talk we did sensory work which further developed our knowledge in description of characters. On Wednesday 25th of June, during the second week of project fortnight, we as a group assigned roles for our stall. This has really helped the flow of things as we have been able to fly through our jobs and help others in the class. We could never have achieved this without teamwork and our goal has been achieved above and beyond, well done team! |
